MANILA, Philippines – This Saturday, September 26, 2015 is a momentous day for ALDUB fans all over the world. This is because it’s the day that Lola Nidora has set for Alden Richards to visit Maine “Yaya Dub” Mendoza at her “mansyon” mansion.
It’s also the National Pabebe Wave Day.
It’s the 3rd time that the phenomenal pair are permitted to see each other. The first one was a glimpse, when Yaya Dub performed at the studio; the second one was hampered by a plywood as the couple were about to touch each other; the 3rd one was their closest physical encounter, but the problem was that they were blindfolded; and the 4th one was a date using a long table that kept them – roughly – 20 feet apart.
The even this Saturday symbolizes Filipino “panliligaw” (courtship), when a suitor visits the girl in her home. Filipino women are supposed to be courted at home and not on the streets or outside the house. This is a sign of respect for the girl and her parents and family.
Lola Nidora allowed Alden Richards to visit Yaya Dub on three conditions:
1. They should stay 1 foot apart from each other, and observe the “no touch” rule. At first Lola Nidora said that they should be 6 feet apart, but Lola Alden, Tidora and Tinidora objected. With much prodding, Lola Nidora agreed to the “1-foot apart, no touch” suggestion.
2. Alden will bring chicharon for Lola Nidora.
3. Alden will sing one of the most dub smashed song of the ALDUB love team, Bryan White’s “God Gave Me You.”
Alden Richards agreed to all three conditions; hence, this date on Saturday. The thunderous applause inside and outside the TV studio was spontaneous as thrilled fans cheered the pair and jumped and down with glee. For sure, millions of ALDUB fans all over the world joined in jubilation.
On Saturday, September 26, fans from Singapore, Hongkong, Canada, the US, Spain, UK, Malaysia, Taiwan, Europe and the Middle East will certainly have a field day watching this thrilling segment of the Eat Bulaga Kalye Serye.
The hahstag this Saturday will definitely set new world records anew. The highest number of tweets by the ALDUB nation so far was more than 12 million tweets. This Saturday, ALDUB fans have set a record to gain 20 million tweets for the ALDUB hashtag.
