MANILA, Philippines – Gary Valenciano updates include a concert entitled, “ARISE Gary V 3.0”, which will be held at the SMART Araneta Coliseum on Friday and Saturday, April 11 & 12, 2014. This is to celebrate his 30th Anniversary in showbiz.
The Total Performer and Mr. Pure Energy is now one of the icons in the Philippine entertainment industry having contributed significantly to Original Pilipino Music OPMs since 1983 with his own brand of music.
He popularized songs such as “Natutulog Ba Ang Diyos?” (Does God Sleep?), “I Will Be Here”, “Warrior is a Child” and “Pasko Na, Sinta Ko” (“It’s already Christmas my beloved.“) He is also a credible actor and appeared in TV soaps such as “Maalaala Mo Kaya.”
Gary V has also a new inspirational album entitled “With You”, which has been released this month, to the delight of his fans. The album is composed of 10 inspirational songs, and is produced by Universal Records.
Gary V’s genre of music always uplifts the human spirit and tends to bring optimism, inspiration and joy to the listener. His music depicts his strong spiritual connection with his Maker and the purity of his generous and kind soul.
In the new album, Gary V sings with AKA JAM, the group he mentored when he was an X Factor Philippines Judge and a duet with his daughter, Kiana. The complete song list includes: No Mount Too High, He’s Enough, With You, The Answer, In You, Saytay, Ngiti, Kapit Pinoy, Para Sa ‘Yo Ama and Come To Jesus.
Mr. Pure Energy has also done his part for the Typhoon Haiyan survivors. As the Philippines National Ambassador for UNICEF, he participated actively in helping them get back on their feet anew. His concert is dedicated to the Haiyan/Yolanda survivors.
Recently, Gary V featured Sochi 2014 Olympian Michael Christian Martinez on ASAP in the segment “With Love, Gary V.” last Sunday, March 2, 2014. Martinez participated in the final round of the Men’s Figure Skating category and finished with a historic 19th place – the first for the Philippines and Southeast Asia.
Gary Valenciano continues to be a role model for the youth and an inspiration to his listeners and fans.
