To date, Colton Dixon’s “Never Gone” is No. 3 on iTunes. “Never Gone” is Colton’s first music video on iTunes, but it is already on top of the charts, only topped by Katy Perry’s “Roar” and Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball.”
It is an amazing performance by an American Idol alumna, who even did not make it to the Top 3 contestants on American Idol.
Colton Dixon is surprised, however, that “Never Gone” is categorized as pop music. The song shines more as a Christian music.
After ending up 7th in American Idol, Colton Dixon has achieved more than what was expected.

Would “Never Gone” make it to No. 1 on iTunes? It could, but being at No. 3 against Titans like Katy and Miley is already an achievement in itself.
