Pinay Arisxandra Libantino, 11, made it to the Finals of Britain’s Got Talent 2013 (BGT), as disclosed by international entertainment sites, May 28, 2013. Arisxandra was tied in second place, at first, with Youth Creation a dancing group from Essex.
In the end, however, Arisxandra Libantino prevailed with the judges. She sang “I Have Nothing” by Whitney Houston, which Simon Cowell praised, saying:
“If you’ve got it, you’ve got it, who cares how old you are. It was one of the best performances of the night, and I would like to dedicate this one to Bruce.”
“Bruce” is Bruce Forsyth, who had earlier expressed his criticism of having children in the show.
Arisxandra is of Filipino descent, the daughter of Elma and Aristotle from Nueva Ecija, Philippines. She has been featured in her YouTube videos with quite a following of her own.
Together with Arisxandra for the finals are Richard and Adam, who sang “Somewhere” of “The West Side Story.”
