Arnel Pineda and Journey are presently on tour in Europe and they are as amazing, as ever, with their superb performances. Their world tour started in Asia and then resumed in Belfast, UK on May 16, 2013. They have performed in Glasgow, Sheffield, Newcastle, Manchester, Nottingham, Cardiff, and on, May 29, in Wembley – all in UK – at the Wembley Arena Square at 6:30 pm.
All performances were well-applauded, especially their dirty dozen songs, “Open Arms”, “Faithfully”, “Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)“, “Lights” and their signature song “Don’t Stop Believin’”. “Don’t Stop Believin’’ is the #1 most digitally downloaded song in history.
Co-headlining the tour is Whitesnake, one of the popular rock bands, with another rock band, Thunder as guests.
As Journey continues to perform all over UK, Journey fans, who have never seen Journey perform live, would experience the new frontman’s showmanship and charm irresistible. “Where does he get all that energy?” a fan quipped. Apparently, Arnel Pineda gets the inspiration from his family, his band mates, and his fans.
Arnel Pineda just finished recording “Tenk You Po” a tribute to hardworking Pilipinos produced by Puregold, one of the leading local grocery stores. Surely Arnel is missing his family; especially their youngest princess, Thea, who is the apple of his eyes now, and Cherub, the little Arnel.
The show must go on, though, and with the band being a second family, Arnel Pineda would go on rocking UK – and soon Germany – up to June 2, 2013. Then the US tour would follow until September 1, 2013.
Journey’s staying power for more than 30 years can be attributed to the band’s, lead guitarist, Neal Schon, who was responsible in choosing Arnel Pineda from a YouTube video. The sterling performances of the members of the band: Bass guitarist, Ross Valory, keyboard player, Jonathan Cain, and drummer, Deen Castronovo also contributed to the band’s popularity. With lead vocalist, Arnel Pineda’s vigor and soul, Journey would definitely continue performing for a few more years.
