MANILA, Philippines – Jessica Sanchez’s Valentine’s Day Concert in Manila was a huge success, judging from the screams of around 10,000 fans at the SMART Araneta Coliseum.
There was nothing but short of pandemonium, especially when the American Idol runner-up sang “Ikaw” one of the popular Tagalog songs.
Reactions of fans to Jessica Sanchez’s concert can be described as “colossal;” she is the princess of all singing Divas.
Fans stood and went wild as Jessica crooned:
“ Ikaw ang bigay ng maykapal.
Tugon sa aking dasal.
Upang sa lahat ng panahon
Bawat pagkakataon
Ang ibigin ko’y ikaw.”
“Ikaw” is a love song popularized by Filipina singer-actress Sharon Cuneta. Jessica Sanchez was given a standing ovation with the song by her Blujays in Manila.

Colton Dixon performed one of his outstanding songs during the American Idol 2012 competition, “Love the Way You Lie.” Colton has earned the adulation of Filipino fans too because of his amiable and pleasant personality.
Jessica Sanchez dedicated her song “Someone Like You” to the lovers on Valentine’s Day. She thanked all her fans via Twitter, saying:
“Manila, Hope ya’ll enjoyed me and @coltondixon tonight! Happy Valentines Day loves!”
On Twitter, fans’ reactions were of happiness and fulfillment:
“Jessica Sanchez and Colton Dixon, you were amazing tonight!”
“Unforgettable Jessica Sanchez’s concert. Thanks, Jessica, you totally nailed it.”
There were fans who traveled from far-flung provinces just to watch her sing. It was a colossal concert by one of the most talented singers of this generation.
In spite of her busy schedule, Jessica had time to reply, via Twitter, to her boyfriend, DeAndre Brackensick’s, Valentine’s Day greeting.
