Some fans are calling him the Zayn Malik of the Philippines, while some tagged him as the local Justin Bieber. He is being paired with Kathryn Bernardo on TV.
Daniel comes from a family of entertainment personalities being the son of actress-singer Karla Estrada and action star Rommel Padilla; he is the nephew of popular action star, Robin Padilla.
He was awarded the Best Male Newcomer by Yahoo! Philippines OMG! Awards for 2012.
Daniel Padilla remains humble though, inspite of his incredible rise to fame and stardom. He has good work ethics, is hard-working, and does not allow success to go into his head.
