MANILA, Philippines – The Top 10 American Idol Finalists are now in Manila for the last leg of their Live Tour at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on September 21, 2012. This was reported by local TV networks, September 18, 2012.
The Top 10 have been expressing their eagerness, via their Twitter accounts, of their Manila Tour, with Jessica Sanchez stating, she can’t wait to see her fans in the Philippines.
Reportedly, upon arrival, American Idol runner-up, Jessica Sanchez was interviewed by the press. The Top 10 American Idols will also meet the press in Manila Hotel, later this afternoon.
Jessica has won the hearts of the world, especially Filipinos, with her gentle and endearing ways. Many people believed she should have won American Idol, but the 17 year-old lass displayed admirable sportsmanship when she said Phillip Phillips deserved to win American Idol.
Last season, the Top 10 American Idols had also visited the Philippines because of Thia Megia, who was also a finalist of Filipino descent. The Top 10 would presumably do the rounds on TV stations to promote their concert.

Meanwhile the judges for next season’s American Idol were finally selected, with Randy Jackson sharing his musical judges’ chair with Mariah Carey, Keith Urban, and Nicki Minaj. American Idol Season 12 will debut on January 2013.
Will there be another American Idol Live tour in the Philippines next season? That would be an interesting question to answer eventually.
