The American Idol Auditions for Season 12 will start on June 7, 2012 in Los Angeles California. This was announced at the American Idol website, May 17.
The Grand Finale for the Top 2 American Idol hopefuls will still be on May 22 and May 23, but auditions for the next season will already start next month.

The theme songs for the Top 2 American Idol finale were released by Nigel Lythgoe. It would surely be a night of excitement and fun for everyone, as two extraordinary singers: Jessica Sanchez and Phillip Phillips, which are of different genre, meet on stage to win the ultimate prize – the American Idol 2012 title for season 11.
