Safe Travel Prayer for Family and Friends

Traveling safely with family and friends is fun. However, amidst this fun, you should remember to ask for safety and health from The Power that guides heaven and earth. Say this prayer and be reassured as you embark on your journey.

Safe Travel Prayer for Family and Friends

As we begin our travel to our destination, we ask for your divine protection, Lord.

Please put a cloak of security around us with your powerful presence.

This would protect us from evil and harmful spirits.

Grant our driver an insightful mind and great wisdom to know what is the safest route.

Let your Holy Spirit come down on fellow travelers along the road so that love and peace would reign in their hearts.

Also, allow us to be equally conscious of our surroundings.

And to be kind and concerned about each other on the road.

Actions speak louder than words.

So, may our actions and treatment of other travelers be a reflection of Your unconditional love.

Remind us that we have to be kind and caring always of one another.

That each brother and sister we meet along the road is your child.

We are Your children that You have loved so much to sacrifice Your Life for our salvation.

Along our journey, make us constantly aware of our mission to spread Your Word.

Allow us to avoid road rage, accidents, and ill manners.

Make us aware that everyone is a traveler on this road of life and would need some kindness and concern.

We offer you all the challenges that we may encounter in this journey.

With Your constant guidance, everything would resolve everything well.

Grant peace and love also to those we left at home.

May they stay happy, healthy, and strong.

We thank you for our safe, happy, and peaceful journey.

Amen.
