Dear God, please let your divine spirit descend upon us so that we would be able to endure the hardships that come with the floods.
May you calm the rains and the waters so that they would subside, as you did with the storm in Sea of Galilee.
With your protection and love we know you would not forsake us.
Grant that our loved ones and all victims of floods would trust in your all-abounding love.
Grant that those who are not victims would find it in their hearts to extend a helping hand to the less fortunate.
Grant that we would find strength in your divine love.
All these we ask through your son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
