Dear God, thanks for keeping us safe and sound the whole day.
Thanks for the joy, happiness, and love that you showered us with this day.
Grant that this evening we would sleep soundly, safe from harm and illness.
May you send down your angels from Heaven to guard and guide us as we sleep.
May our bodies be rested and ready to take up once again the challenges you have set for us tomorrow.
Bless those who are at war that they would be able to seek comfort in your presence.
Let them realize that you are found in all places on earth; all they have to do is pray.
All these we ask in Jesus’ name. Amen.
