US President Obama’s Tucson Speech has made its indelible mark in the hearts of Americans and of the international community when he talked about rising from the tragedy and facing the challenges as one nation.  There were many shining moments in his speech that created a lump in the throats of several listeners.

President Obama himself, seemed to be on the verge of tears as he talked about the victims in the senseless killing.  With the encouraging cheers comes a solemn promise that America would be able to rise from the tragic event in Tucson with renewed vigor and unity, to confirm its leadership of the free world. These lines were very well said by President Obama:

“We recognize our own mortality and are reminded that in the fleeting time we have on this Earth, what matters is not wealth or status or power or fame, but rather, how well we have loved and what small part we have played in bettering the lives of others.”

This video is released by the White House and is the complete memorial speech of President Obama in Tucson, AZ for the victims of the tragic shooting that included Gabrielle Giffords.
