MANILA, Philippines – Senator Bong Revilla in his privilege speech in the Senate revealed what President Noynoy Aquino, allegedly, said about ex-Chief Justice Renato Corona:
“’Pare, parang awa mo na, ibalato mo na lang sa akin to. Kelangan siyang ma-impeach”
(This roughly means that the president is asking the senator to vote for the impeachment of Corona as a gift).
According to Revilla, DILG secretary Mar Roxas even fetched him. Roxas said, though, that he was only doing Revilla a favor. With Sen. Revilla Jr.’s revelation, it is becoming clearer that this could be the purpose of the additional DAP that the senators were given.
Some Netizens are outraged of the president’s alleged action, even as the president’s communication’s officer denied the allegations.
