There were mixed reactions to Ricky Gervais’ hosting of the Golden Globe Awards 2011as reported by Entertainment sites , January 16, 2011.
Ricky Gervais was considered by some in the audience as rude when he “toasted” even big named stars like Bruce Willis, Angeline Jolie and Charlie Sheen.
He joked about Robert Downdey Jr, as being in the Betty Ford Clinic and Los Angeles Jail….:” and many other offensive jokes.
The jokes were done in bad taste, and Gervais, most probably , will not be invited again to the award ceremonies.
