Police has found $10 million in the field of a Gimje farmer in South Korea and had arrested Mr. Lee, the farmer. This was reported by International news sites, March 12, 2011.
The money allegedly came from illegal Internet gambling operated by his two brothers-in-law. Apparently they had instructed him to hide the loot in the most unlikely place that police would search. The $10 million cash however, was found by alert policemen.
It is still unclear if the charges will be added to the brothers-in-law charges as well. Additional cash was also found in Lee’s car and in the family’s apartment.
