MANILA, Philippines – PCINSP Juanito B. Gaces Jr, together with 16 more Awardees, have received the National Achievement Award from President Aquino and DILG Secretary, Mar Roxas, during the 113th Police Service Awarding Celebration.
PDG Alan La Madrid Purisima, Chief, Philippine National Police assisted PNoy and Roxas in presenting the awards to the national awardees.
PCINSP Juanito B. Gaces Jr. is one of the 6 individual awardees; the only awardee of Kalinga descent, and the only Commissioned Officer for General Support.
The lone woman awardee is PO2 Crissandra B. Aggabao.
There were 6 individual awards, 7 group awards and 4 special awards. The awardees have undergone strict screening and selection process before the final selection.

PNoy talked about the Integrated Multiple Integration System (IBIS), and the Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) in his speec. These are technology updates in the police services that will facilitate and automate the police system of solving crimes.
