MANILA, Philippines – PAGASA has issued a new weather advisory about a possible Low Pressure Area turning into a new typhoon (Paeng), if it enters the Philippines’ Area of Responsibility. With the previous onslaught of Typhoon Ompong, hopefully this won’t happen.
Reportedly, if the LPA becomes Typhoon Paeng, the affected areas are Northern Luzon, Cagayan and Isabela.
Although the direction of the tropical depression is not towards the Philippines as of the moment, it could change directions any time, so residents of the affected areas must be alert and updated with the weather forecast.
Here’s PAGASA’s announcement as of 7:15 p.m. September 22, 2018.
