All boxing fans are rejoicing because reportedly, Floyd Mayweather Jr has finally consented to fight Manny Pacquiao at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas on May 2, 2015. Within 3 minutes, all rooms at the MGM Grand Hotel were sold out.
The Mayweather vs Pacquiao is touted to be the richest fight in history with the boxers earning millions of dollars with the 60/40 split that both agreed on.
The previous day, Pacquiao on his twitter account hinted on Mayweather’s consenting to the fight; he had previously signed the contract.
On Twitter #MayweatherVsPacquiao trended worldwide as Twittertweeps excitedly flooded their feeds with the superb news for sports. Boxing is alive again!
Mayweather posted on his Shots page a picture of the contract he signed for the PacquiaoVs Mayweather fight. saying:

What the world has been waiting for is done. Mayweather vs. Pacquiao on May 2 2015 is a done deal. I promised the fans we could get this done and we did. We will make history on May 2. Don’t miss it! This is the signed contract…
”
On the other hand, Manny Pacquiao expressed his happiness on Twitter:
