MANILA, Philippines – Classes are still suspended on Tuesday, August 7, 2012, due to continuing rains in some cities in Metro Manila, and nearby areas.
According to the Taytay Public Information Office, classes in all levels in public and private schools are suspended in Taytay, Rizal.
Classes are also suspended in all levels in private and public schools in Las Pinas City . There are no classes also in all levels, both private and public in Bacoor, Cavite.
Meanwhile, the Quezon City Mayor’s Office announced the suspension of pre-school, grade school, and high school classes in both private and public schools. The Trinity University of Asia in Quezon City has suspended classes and offices in all levels.
No classes in all levels are also announced in Muntinlupa City, in both private and public schools.
In Valenzuela, as reported by the Valenzuela Public Information Office, there are no classes in these schools:
- Arkong Bato National High School
- A. Deato Elementary School
- Coloong Elementary School
- Isla Elementary School
- Pasolo Elementary School
- Pio Valenzuela Elementary School
- PR San Diego Elementary School
- Rincon Elementary School
- Nuestra Senora De Guia Academy
- San Diego Parochial School
- Tagalag Elementary School
- Wawang Pulo Elementary School
Classes are suspended in Ateneo de Manila in grade school and Loyola Schools also on August 7, 2012, as announced through their official Twitter account.
Reportedly, Mayor Alfredo Lim announced suspension of classes in Manila in all levels in both private and public schools on August 7.
Adamson University has also announced its suspension of classes and offices on August 7, 2012.
