No Classes in Most Universities in Metro Manila on August 7, 2012

MANILA, Philippines – Due to heavy rains Manila City Mayor Alfredo Lim has suspended classes in all levels in Manila in both private and public schools on Tuesday, August 7, 2012.

More class suspensions for August 7, 2012, to date, are: (Watch out for further announcements.)

1. Arellano University-Malabon suspends classes in all levels.

2. Mayor John Rey Tiangco announced suspension of classes in Navotas City, in all levels in both private and public.

3. In Pasig City, classes are suspended in all levels in both private and public schools.

4. In Marikina, classes are suspended in all levels in both private and public schools.

5. Miriam College suspends classes and offices in all levels.

6. In Pateros, classes are suspended in all levels in both private and public schools.

7. PHL Women’s University suspends classes and office, maintenance and security personnel will be on duty.

8. FEU EAC, FEU Diliman and FEU Makati suspends classes and office operations; maintenance and security personnel will be on duty.

9. In Antipolo City, classes are suspended in pre-school, grade school and high school in both public and private pre-schools.

10. CEU-Makati suspends classes and office work.

11. DLSU Taft, Makati and Ortigas Extension campuses, and DLSU STC suspend classes and office work.

12. Emilio Aguinaldo College-Manila suspends classes in all levels.
