Netizens have reacted negatively to the comment of PMA Valedictorian, Cadet First Class Jheorge Llona: “The civilians do not understand the honor system very well. It is probably why that is how they feel over the dismissal of Cadet Cudia.”
This is in relation to PMA’s disqualification of Cadet First Class Aldrin Jeff Cudia to graduate because he reportedly lied.
The 223 PMA cadets of Siklab Diwa Class of 2014 will graduate on Sunday, March 16, 2014 and Cadet Cudia is not among them. He is supposed to be Rank 3 of the graduating class. Cudia’s appeal has been junked but a number of civilians are not in accordance with the PMA’s decision. Here are some of the reactions:

“With all due respect, I am super disappointed with the kind of your leadership @PresidentNoy #Cudia #PMAGraduation.”
“We understand your honor code. We have the same honor code as you have. Being civilians does not make us less honorable than you are, but how can you impose this policy on a cadet when the leaders of this banana republic are worse? When big thieves roam around undeterred and free? Hypocrites!”
Pastor S. Tinio Jr. (posted on Rappler’s Facebook Page)
“You are absolutely right when you say we don’t understand this so-called honor system. i am aware that many men and women of valor and integrity have passed through the august halls of the pma. but how can you expect us mere mortals to understand the seemingly very strict application of this system when many of your alumni have been involved in so many scandals that have rocked the very foundations of this country? it begs the question does this honor system really work?”
