Ma. Angelica Prado, who people tagged as X Factor Philippines’ Jessica Sanchez, was given a standing ovation by the X Factor judges for her song “Scientist”.
International singing superstar, Charice, was awed by her voice, and so were the rest of the X Factor Philippines’ judges: Pilita Corrales, Martin Nievera and Gary Valenciano. They all stood up for Ma. Angelica Prado.
Angelica revealed that it was the first time she participated in a singing contest, but she performs in front of audiences as part of a small music band.
They performed recently in the baranggay fiesta in Bacolod, on June 24, 2012 ,as described in her YouTube video where she sang Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep.”
Martin Neviera said: “Will somebody please call Oprah or Ellen, a star is born.”
The 5th Avids made waves too for their perfect performance.
