Jessica Sanchez Helps Philippines’ Haiyan Relief Operations by Donating Proceeds of New Single to the American Red Cross for Typhoon Victims

American Idol runner up, Jessica Sanchez , is helping the Philippines’ Haiyan Relief Operations by donating all the proceeds of her new single, “Lead Me Home”, to the American Red Cross for the typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) victims.

Jessica Sanchez is of Filipino descent being the daughter of a Filipina mother and a Mexican-American father. She competed during the American Idol Season 11 reality singing competition and ended up runner-up, with Phillip Phillips as the winner.

Jessica had always a soft spot in her heart for Filipinos and had extended help in any way she can for her “kababayans” (countrymen.)

Fans can purchase Lead Me Home”, which is included in “Heartbeat of Home” from iTunes.

She is well-loved in return by her Filipino fans, and her solo concert was well-attended. Reportedly, she is scheduled to perform again on December in the Philippines.

Jessica Sanchez would also sing the National Anthem on November 23, 2013 during the Manny Pacquiao vs. Brandon Rios Fight in Macau, China.
