Comments and reactions to Filipino Michael Christian Martinez’s performance at the Sochi Winter Olympics 2014 during the Men’s Short Program were of praises and admiration. He has qualified for the Free Men Skating competition today, Friday, February 14, 2014 at 19:00 (Sochi time), against 23 other skaters from all over the world; that would be 11:00 pm in the Philippines.

The more than 12,000 people in the auditorium cheered several times during the performance of Michael Christian Martinez, including the “Mr. Freak Move.” He got 64.81.
Meanwhile, Pinoys trooped to Twitter and Facebook in support of Michael Martinez. Many have even offered to help financially.
It is a momentous day for the 17-year old, as he took pride in being the lone representative of the Philippines in the Sochi Winter Olympics 2014.
