Baguio’s Panagbenga Flower Festival has started on last Saturday, February 1, 2014, and would last until next month.
The month-long events attract numerous local and international tourists, every year, who flock to the Summer Capital of the Philippines to relax and rejuvenate themselves. The 5 provinces, Kalinga, Apayao, Beguet, Bontoc and Ifugao participate every year with their native dances, songs and costumes. A competition among the floats and street-dancing are held to entertain the thousands of people in the oval at Burnham Park.
