PAMPANGA, Philippines – Angeles University Foundation (AUF) sponsored the “Eat, Pray and Give: A Lunch for a Cause” event for the typhoon Yolanda victims on Thursday, November 14, 2013.
The event was spear-headed by Howard Dizon, Canteen Manager, the HRM Department and the Hotel and Restaurant Management Juniors Society of AUF.
The “Eat, Pray and Give: A lunch for a Cause” event offered 3 types of lunch packs for only P150 to AUF students and faculty members. on its Facebook page, AUF thanked those who supported the activity; no less than the University Chancellor himself, Atty. Emmanuel Y. Angeles, was there to show his support.
“EAT, PRAY AND GIVE was a huge success. Thank you to the 500+ students and employees who dined and shared for the typhoon victims. Go, go, go HRM students!”
There is also another project initiated by AUF alumni based in Singapore, the Grab this shirt for a good cause project.
Those who would like to help the Yolanda victims can do so through this worthy endeavor.
