Manila, Philippines – The Philippine National Police (PNP) has set the record straight for 2018 crime rates in Angeles City. It has earlier reported that the city has one of the highest crime rates, but records show that Angeles has the second lowest crime rate instead; at 27.10%.

Angelenos are peace-loving people and they try their best to cooperate with police forces to apprehend criminals, drug pushers and similar personalities. The progress of the solution of crimes is closely watched by the citizenry, prompting police officers to do their jobs efficiently.

Men in uniform are generally respected and looked up to by the youth. Schools are safe and secure from criminals. In rare cases of school trivial crimes, the school admins ascertain that proper measures are in place to avoid the same untoward incidence to happen again.

Major streets are generally safe at night, while the red light district is open almost 24 hours a day.
Subdivisions are relatively safe, except for a few thefts and robberies. It’s not surprising to learn that the criminals are mostly from other provinces. This is because Angeles City has become one of the melting pots in the country.

Edgardo Pamintuan, the Mayor of Angeles City has mandated police officers to be vigilant with their duties. This has reduced the crime rate in the city this 2018.
