Aamir Khan, Bollywood’s Superstar, is hosting “Satyamev Jayate”, a show which is creating awareness of people about the problems in India; one of them is female feticide.
“Satyamev Jayate” means “Truth Alone Prevails”, and that is what Aamir Khan wants to focus on. Aamir revealed in his program, that he would not be presumptuous to assume that he could make drastic changes, all he wanted is for people to become aware of the problems of his country, so that they could begin the change from within themselves.
His show provided solutions to the problems that were uncovered and had made people aware that they could do something from their end.
Aamir Khan was introduced as an adult male actor in “Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak” in 1988, where he became an overnight sensation, together with Juhi Chawla. He was awarded the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut for this film. He went on to act in blockbuster movies like Raja Hindustani, Lagaan, Ghajini and the 3 Idiots.
Aamir’s Satyamev Jayate revelations had reportedly prompted some Indian states to change their laws. The thorough researches done by the staff are complete, revealing not only the astounding facts about certain topics, but also providing some solutions to the problems encountered. All these made the show popular with its millions of viewers.
It is even now being translated to English for viewing all over the world. Aamir uses his popularity as a stepping stone for a noble purpose – to be of service to mankind.
