Dear Father in Heaven, we are celebrating the birth of your son, Jesus, on this Christmas Day, we are grateful for the various blessings in our lives.
We give you thanks for the love, joy, and peace that come from knowing You and following Your teachings.
On bent knees, we pray for those who are in need on this day, for those who are lonely or struggling.
May you bring them comfort and hope and that you fill their hearts and soul with the Divine Light of your love.
Please, grant us peace on Earth, and for an end to conflict, war, and violence.
We beseech you to guide the leaders of our world, and help them to work together and cooperate for the common good.
God, as we gather with our family and loved ones on this special day, help us to remember and embed in our hearts the true meaning of Christmas.
May we reflect on the generous gift of your son, and may His love and sacrifice continue to inspire us to be loving, kind and compassionate to all those around us – including our enemies.
Dear Lord, we give you thanks, praise, and prayers now and always. Amen.
