I start this day with a fervent prayer, seeking Your Healing Hands, God,
I beseech You to bless me so that I can fulfill all my nurse’s duties with efficiency and competency.
Grant me Your Spiritual Discernment in treating people properly,
May I see You in each one of them.
Let me be a symbol of hope and recuperation for them not only physically but also emotionally and spiritually.
With Your Omniscience, allow me to have sufficient wisdom and knowledge to follow orders correctly and also to discern the best method how to apply this to my patients.
Bless all hospital personnel so that everyone will cooperate for the benefit of the patients.
Eschew all my selfish desires for self-aggrandizement and goals.
I include in this nurse’s prayer, all nurses in the world.
May they be blessed with Your Love, Concern, and Healing Hands in order for them to render tender, loving care.
I pray for our patients too.
Send the patience, courage, and perseverance of the Holy Spirit so that they can endure their infirmities with grace and dignity.
If they are destined to meet You, Oh Lord.
Let them come to You in peace and less suffering.
May You grant them eternal rest and peace with You in Heaven.
I implore You, Lord God, to bless all institutions for the sick and their staff all over the globe.
Just as You will bestow upon me Your fortitude, caring, and healing hands, may You do so with all of them as well.
I firmly believe that I can perform all my nurse’s obligations successfully through You, who strengthens and enlightens me.
I lift all these concerns to You, Lord, in this prayer.
