X Factor USA bigwig, Simon Cowell, revealed on April 3, 2013 how auditions are being done for Season 3 of the reality TV singing competition this year. Auditions had started March 6, 2013.
According to Simon Cowell, there is no age cap for the contest because he believes there is no age cap for talent.

In the past, he found success in mentoring groups, namely, One Direction, Fifth Symphony and Emblem 3. He stated that it helps if a contestant is good looking.
In season 2, country singer, Tate Stevens, won the 5M prize with Carly Sonenclar coming in second and Fifth Harmony in third place. It was a close fight between Tate and Carly, but America gave Tate a little bit more edge.
Simon Cowell also disclosed that he likes it when contestants have done their research.
“You’ve got to show me, you’ve got something nobody else got. It’s originality.”
X Factor USA Season 3 would surely debut on TV with a blast.
