Now that the BTS members are on a break, focusing more on their individual activities, many groups are aspiring to temporarily take their place in the world’s limelight.
However, sad to say, no other group could ever measure up or come close to achieving what BTS has achieved so far – NOT EVEN ANY INTERNATIONAL GROUP FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD.
Many may have achieved some of BTS’s achievements but no one could ever come close to duplicating the Bangtan Universe, the diversity of BTS music, and their group chemistry – simultaneously. Here are more reasons why there will never be a next BTS.

1. BTS Create their music from their own stories
Since the start, the BTS members have always composed their songs based on their own stories, thoughts, and ideas at the moment.
They spoke against the prejudices and unfairness that the South Korean’s youth were undergoing at that time; some of them were the rigid educational system, unfair practices, and difficulties they themselves were encountering.
During the Sewol Ferry tragedy that claimed the lives of more than 300 students, they sang about the insufficient response of the government to the catastrophe in the song “Am I Wrong“. Although, indirectly and in a satirical and funny way.
They did this in spite of the threat of the current government to silence anti-government actions.
As they grew older, they sang about the unfair system the youths are undergoing when looking for employment and many other concerns of people their age.
Their inspiring messages and meaningful lyrics, however, resonated with all people of all ages and races and they have gained millions of followers around the world.

2. BTS members have a great group chemistry
You may fool some of the audience when performing on stage but you can never fool all people simultaneously.
Fans can sense the sincerity, care, and concern of each BTS member for their bandmates. So, their dynamism on stage is sincere and unequaled.
Not one of the other groups can ever duplicate their commanding stage presence and genuine camaraderie.
Even each of BTS member is unique in his own right, with the members contributing to the group’s dynamics. They have different roles in the band.
No next BTS in this aspect, for sure.

Is there any group that has a running story through their songs? Other groups are trying to duplicate this feat but to no avail. Copied concepts can never strike a chord with the majority of people because it’s untrue.
The Bangtan Universe also flows through many of their songs, and the interconnections are being discovered by ARMYs even up to this time.
4. They are Phenomenal Performers
BTS can sing, dance, and rap while performing complicated choreography. Well, there are other groups who can do these things as well, but most of them lip-synch, while BTS always does their performances “live”.
There are various singers performing some covers of BTS songs live, and you could notice that they’re having difficulty doing them. It’s a challenge to dance and sing simultaneously, which the Bangtan boys do amazingly well.
5. They refuse to give in to the pressures of how their music should be done
Once, BTS member V, talked about them being able to choose the easy way to the top, but they want to do it through their own efforts with honesty and integrity.
This year, they can choose to continue doing songs in English just to top the Billboard charts, but – but they said “No” and preferred to take a break to get back their ‘muse’.
This is the mark of a true artist. One that does not search for monetary gains at the cost of his/her music, but one who creates music that comes from his/her heart.
And that’s what BTS are doing right now – recharging their musical genius, so they could compose songs from their heart once again.
6. BTS have ARMY, their dedicated, loyal, and hardworking fans.
BTS members call their ARMY their Greatest Voice, their Idols, and they call themselves fans of ARMY, and that they are truly grateful because they would not be there without the loyal support of ARMY. They equate ARMY to themselves. They don’t looked down on them as “fans: but as equals – on the same level as them.
They always stated when they win awards: “You won again, ARMY!”, meaning that they’re giving the awards to their ARMY. This is how they genuinely love their fans.
In the latest development, BTS revealed their decision of enlisting in the Korean military conscription, and they asked ARMY to trust them. So, ARMYs all over the world had decided to be happy for them, and are willing to wait for them until they convene as a group again in 2025.
ARMY vowed to be with BTS forever!
Other K-pop groups are now hopeful that they will be the next BTS, but sad to say, not one of them can qualify based on these basic aspects.
Billboard has even created a chart for K-pop alone to find the “next BTS”, but sorry to say this, BUT THERE WILL NEVER BE A NEXT BTS,
