It’s May 2, the biggest day in boxing history for the Paquiao vs. Mayweather fight, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas at 6 p.m. Reportedly, tickets on sale for the public have been sold within 60 seconds after they were released online.
There are tickets being sold in the secondary market but their price tags are higher understandably. Everyone wants to watch this clash of the two best pound-for-pound fighters in the world.
If you were not able to buy your tickets, here are places where you can watch Paquiao vs. Mayweather bout for free, with a fee, or through live-streaming.
If you reside in Pacman’s country, you can watch via the following:
1. Premier local TV networks – ABS-CBN, GMA7 and TV5 – (this is free but the telecast is a little bit delayed)
2. Local government gyms and stadiums– In almost all cities in the Philippines. The local government gyms will serve as venues for the historic boxing bout. This is also free but the telecast is a little bit delayed.
Here are some venues for Metro Manila: Dapitan Sports Complex, Cuneta Astrodome, MP Tower Sampaloc, Manila, Tondo Sports Complex, Marikina Freedom Park, Amoranto Stadium and Rizal Sports Complex.
3. PPV (Cable) – You can also form a group and contribute for the $99.99 payment of the pay-per-view. This is preferable if you want to watch LIVE and with more privacy.
4. Casinos all over the country – Local casinos will cater to their customers as well as boxing fans.
5. Century Hotel (Encore) – A fee of PHP499 is charged that comes with one meal.

1. HBO and Showtime TV Channels – through PPV
2. Coachella Valley – Tilted Kilt (Palm Desert), The Beer Hunter (La Quinta) – $20 to watch the fight. The casinos, Agua Caliente (Fantasy Springs) and Spotlight 29, offer to patrons a chance to watch the fight.
3. Morongo Casino Resort and Spa – (Tacos & Tequila) will charge $95 entry fee. This is inclusive of food and drink.
4. Golden Nugget (Showroom), Huron and Brigantine Blvd Atlantic City – $25 fee.
5. Tropicana, 2831 Boardwalk Avenue, Atlantic City – Pre-reservation – $35; May 2 – $50
