“The Casual Vacancy” J.K. Rowling’s new adult book is due for release on September 27, 2012. This was disclosed by international sites, April 12, 2012.
J.K. Rowling is the author of the famous “Harry Potter” book series, which made Box Office history worldwide with its series of movie adaptations.
“The Casual Vacancy” revolves around the town of Pagford after the unexpected death of Barry Fairweather, one of its local folk. This excerpt was released by Little, Brown Book Company, publisher of the book:
“Pagford is not what it first seems. And the empty seat left by Barry on the parish council soon becomes the catalyst for the biggest war the town has yet seen. Who will triumph in an election fraught with passion, duplicity and unexpected revelations?”
Reportedly, “The Casual Vacancy” is 480 pages and is to be released in eBook, audio and hardback cover forms.
