Tate Steven’s statement after winning X Factor USA 2012 was to thank his family and country music lovers:
“My family, all country music fans, God bless you, and thank you so very much for all the votes. And this is the best day of my life.”
Tate Stevens won the X Factor USA 2012 contests beating 13 year old Carly Rose Sonenclar. Tate is a country singer, and the American music industry welcomes another country singer to the fold that includes American Idol winners, Scotty McCreery, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, and Lauren Alaina.
Tate Stevens was interviewed by Clevver Music and the X Factor USA winner was still unable to believe he has actually won the contest, in spite of the strong opposition he got from Carly and the Fifth Harmony.
Twitter was flooded with congratulatory tweets from Tate’s fans all over the world, saying he truly deserved being a winner.
During the results show Carly Rose sang “All I Want for Christmas” with kids dancing in the background. It was beautiful, equal to Mariah Carey’s.
Simon Cowell said this about Fifth Harmony’s 3rd place standing.
“I have a feeling we will be seeing a lot more from these girls.”
Tate Stevens and Carly Rose Sonenclar, the Top 2 X Factor finalists, performed a “surprise” number “The Climb.” It was a perfect conclusion to the gripping drama musical that is X Factor USA.
Hopefully, Tate Stevens would be able to sell records after winning the X Factor USA 2012 competition, and follow the silver lining in his expected successful singing career.
