Billions of avid fans all over the world are surely ecstatic about this recent development between Walt Disney and George Lucas.
The classic franchise “Star Wars” with its 6 series have been a world-wide blockbuster with 4.4 billion earnings, to date.
Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, R2D2, Obi-wan, Chewbacca, and countless interesting characters have been loved by “Star Wars” fans.
The story of Anakin, until he became Darth Vader, was perfectly blended with the first series filmed several years earlier in 1977. The second trilogy was released in 2005, which had served as a prequel to the first three films.
In the previous series, Mark Hamill played the role of Luke Skywalker, Carrie Fisher played Princess Leia, and Harrison Ford played Han Solo.
It would be interesting to know who would replace them as the lead roles in these new “Star Wars 7, 8 and 9” films.
