ANGELES CITY, Philippines – Mayor Ed Pamintuan has announced the Special Non-Working Days ONLY in Angeles City this October 2018.
According to Mayor Pamintuan, upon his request, Malacañang has declared these days as Special Non-Working Days. This was, however, approved in 2017. This approval would have to apply for 2018, as well because the events are held annually.
This is to celebrate the annual events in Angeles City, namely:
October 8, 2018, Monday – for Fiestang Kuliat, which is usually held on the first Sunday of October
October 26, 2018, Friday – for Tigtigan Terakan Keng Dalan, which is usually held on a Friday
The Fiestang Kuliat is celebrated with parades and a food feast in each household for visitors, and many more fun activities. If you want to taste scrumptious Kapampangan cuisine, you can visit Angeles and savor the exquisite dishes of each household.
The Tigtigan Terakan Keng Dalan is music and dancing in the streets. Traffic in the Balibago area is re-routed because the whole length of the street is converted into an incredible venue for people who want to sing and dance.
Several bands are invited to perform and it’s a completely superb experience, you can only encounter in Angeles City.
For students, you have to double check with your schools first before being absent from your classes, especially schools with post grad students.
