Rock Star Arnel Pineda’s documentary film, “Don’t Stop Believin’: Everyman’s Journey” will be featured in San Francisco Bay City’s Hells Half Mile Independent Film Series on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 4:30 pm. The venue would be at the Delta College Planetarium, 100 Center Avenue at the Bay City.
“Don’t Stop Believin’: Everyman’s Journey” details the challenging journey of Filipino rocker, Arnel Pineda, to fame and fortune. The film shows Arnel’s resilience and unwavering faith, as a relatively unknown singer, until he became the lead singer of the legendary rock band, Journey. It is a Cinderella story that could inspire numerous aspiring singers that they could succeed in the entertainment industry if they would not stop believin’.
Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin” is also the most downloaded song of the 20th century, and has been a national anthem of sorts in the US and around the world. It will always be one of the significant songs in the set list of Journey’s concerts.
Apparently, Arnel Pineda and his Journey band mates, Neal Schon, Deen Castronovo, Ross Valory and Jonathan Cain would have a riot in their hands should they fail to sing their signature song.
The “Audience Award” given to the documentary film during the Tribeca Film Festival is only one of the various awards that the film received from prestigious award giving bodies.
Journey is scheduled to go on a US and a Canadian Tour this 2014.
