Recalling VP Binay’s Show of Support for Miss Philippines, Megan Young; “No Filipina has won yet the Miss World competition”

MANILA, Philippines –Reportedly, Vice President Jejomar Binay showed support to Miss Philippines, Megan Young, by sending her a letter, when she won the local competition for Miss World.

The letter was confirmed and featured on Megan Young’s Facebook page. Reportedly, VP Binay wrote:

“Congratulations on being crowned Miss World Philippines 2013.

I believe you will do well representing the Philippines in this year’s Miss World competition to be held in Jakarta, Indonesia next month.

No Filipina has won yet the Miss World competition. However, rest assured that your kababayans will be behind you as you go for this elusive crown.

Once again, congratulations, I wish you success in the competition.

Pinoys have high hopes that Megan Young would finally bring home the Miss World 2013 crown this time.

Meanwhile, Miss Philippines, Megan Young, has already been included in two significant sub-contests, such as, Miss World Beach Body (Top 11), and Miss World Beauty with a Purpose (Top 15).

The 2013 Miss World Coronation Night would be held on September 28, 2013 in Indonesia.
