Viewers’ reactions to Elise Testone’s elimination from American Idol 2012 Top 6 were not as “violent” as last week’s elimination of Colton Dixon. Elise was voted off April 26, 2012 from the American Idol list. This was announced during the Results Show on the same date.
It came as no surprise to majority of American Idol fans because Elise has been in the Bottom 3 several times before she was finally eliminated. She has also the least fan base, according to statistics taken from Facebook likes, Twitter followers and YouTube views.
Elise Testone’s duet with Phillip Phillips at YouTube for the song “Somebody I Used to Know”; however, earned more than 900,000 views making it the most watched duet of Season 11’s American Idol duets.
