Randy Jackson is back as American Idol’s Season 12 judge, this was reportedly tweeted by Simon Cowell from his official Twitter account.

The Idols’ Live Tour in the U.S. came to an end this September 11, 2012, which is incidentally the commemoration of 9/11 Twin Tower terrorist bombing.

Erika Van Pelt, one of the American Idol finalists tweeted:

“Last day of our US tour, and remembering the tragedy of 9/11 on the same day.” Everything is bittersweet. Love stronger everyday. God bless. “

Simon also tweeted that it was the “right decision” for American Idol.

With Randy is the super singer Mariah Carey. Rumored to join them is Nicki Minaj, and Keith Urban. Enrique Iglesias has allegedly refused to be one of the American Idol judges.

Randy Jackson would be a vital anchor for the reality show’s constantly changing array of judges.

Reportedly, his previous harmonious working relationship with Mariah would, hopefully, pave the way for the judges to cooperate and renew American Idol’s previous  successes.

The Top 10 American Idol finalists would perform on the 3rd week of September in Manila, Philippines. The Philippines is Jessica’s mother home country.
