A 36-year old Pinay, Neneth Lyons, has received a standing ovation from the 4 judges and the audience on X Factor UK 2015 for her performance of Barbara Streisand’s “Somewhere”.
Neneth Lyons is a housewife and a mom, and has auditioned on Week 3 of the X Factor UK 2015 episode.
All the 4 X Factor UK judges namely, Rita Ora, Nick Grimshaw, Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini loved her performance.
The X Factor mogul himself, Simon Cowell – who was very difficult to impress – was all praises for Neneth Lyons, saying:
“You know what Neneth, when that song first started, I thought, maybe this is just a bit out-dated for our show, but who cares. You’re a brilliant singer, and people will gonna like – you a lot.”
Judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini also lauded Neneth Lyons’ rendition of the song:
“That power and that beauty; it was spell-bounding. That was a stunning performance.”
The judges gave her 4 “Yesses” allowing her to advance to the next round on the X Factor UK 2015.
When Neneth Lyons left the stage, Simon Cowell could not help but exclaim:
“Love her, love her.”
