Phillip Phillips Helps New York Recover through His Music; “Home”- Hurricane Sandy Remix, a Touching Video

American Idol Season 11 winner, Phillip Phillips, is one among the new American heroes who participated and will be participating in re-building New York, after the devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy.

According to Hollywood Reporter on November 3, Phillip Phillips will perform, together with the Staten Island school chorus, on November 15, with the proceeds to be donated to The Red Cross and the Siller Foundation. The performance would be webcast on Stageit.com.

Home” is the coronation song of Phillip Phillips and was certified double platinum for selling more than 2 million copies. It also ranked highly in music billboards and digital songs online.

Home” was the theme song of the US Olympic champion gymnasts “Fabulous Five” and was featured in a Clint Eastwood movie.

Presently, a remix of “Home” and Hurricane Sandy was done by WPLI, a New Jersey radio station.
