“Hunger Games: Catching Fire” Actor, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Dies at 46; Reactions on Twitter

Actor Philip Seymour Hoffman has died at the age of 46. He reportedly died of an apparent drug overdose in his office in Manhattan.. This has been reported by various entertainment sites on Sunday, February 2, 2014.

Hoffman played the role of Plutarch Heavensbee, the Head Game Maker in “Hunger Games: Catching Fire.” According to reports, he was shooting scenes for the Hunger Games movies’ last film, “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2,” and was done with some of the scenes.

He was also the lead role in one of the most memorable films of 2005, “Capote”, where he won Best Actor from the prestigious Film Academy Awards.

Aside from this, Philip Seymour Hoffman won numerous awards from award giving organizations and had many quality films that have contributed significantly to the film industry. He could also play a villain or hero, a lead or supporting role, convincingly. Film pundits believe that he was ‘one of the most accomplished screen actors of our time.”
