Reportedly, the executive producer of American Idol, Nigel Lythgoe, tweeted last Friday, April 13, 2012, that there will be 2 songs each for the Top 7 American Idol 2012 contestants for next week’s performance show.

That would make a total of 14 songs by the Top 7 AI contestants. With the results of the last show, only Colton Dixon and Phillip Phillips have never been in the bottom 3. Their fans and followers at Facebook and Twitter in which, they are highly popular are surely using their voting power, as evidenced by their No. of likes and followers.

The consistent Top 3 American Idol contestants in both social networking sites are: Colton Dixon, Jessica Sanchez and Phillip Phillips; Sanchez and Phillips are strong contenders.

After Jessica Sanchez got the lowest votes and was saved by the AI judges, Jessica’s fans reacted and vowed to show their voting prowess during next week’s performance.
