After the Top 9 X Factor Philippines contestants were announced, the bottom 2 contestants who remained on stage were Takeoff and Mark Mabasa.
The two contestants sang their final songs, and the judges were given the task of sending one of them home. Apparently, the judges had a Herculean task because both have unique talents.
When the judges voted, Pilita and Martin voted for Takeoff to go home, but Gary V. and Charice voted for Mark Mabasa to go home. There was a tie, so KC Concepcion announced that they have to rely on the votes cast by viewers.
When the records came in, the contestant with the least votes was Mark Mabasa.
In the end, it was a great singer, Mark Mabasa, who was eliminated. But Takeoff deserves to stay on, as well.
