“Journey has made the decision to have Omar Hakim play drums for the band’s upcoming U.S. concerts (Hollywood Bowl).”

This came as a result of an external problem of their previous drummer, Deen Castronovo.

After 3 decades, Journey is still going strong with its lead singer Arnel Pineda. The total performer, Arnel Pineda, has helped the band remain one of the best bands in the international scene after original crooner, Steve Perry, left the band.

Deen Castronovo has also been an ideal drummer for the band with his superb drumming skills and unique personal style that fans will surely miss him.

Will Omar Hakim measure up to the tested drummer skills of Deen? It remains to be seen.
