Philippines local news disclosed that President Benigno Aquino III is scheduled to meet Jessica in Los Angeles.
This was reportedly confirmed by the Palace’s Spokeperson Edwin Lacierda. According to the report, President Pnoy would meet the American Idol runner-up after his meeting with Filipinos in Los Angeles, on June 10, 2012.
President Pnoy has been vocal about his support for Jessica Sanchez as all Filipinos were.
Jessica; however, lost to Georgia lad, Phillip Phillips, in one of the most talent-ridden grand finale – ever.
Jessica Sanchez showed sterling character when she openly expressed her admiration of Phillip Phillips’ win, saying he deserved it a hundred percent.
Presently, Jessica is happy, doing the rounds of talk shows like “Today” and “LIVE! With Kelly,” and she knows it is just beginning of a successful career. Many American Idol runners-up had done well even without the American Idol 2012 crown.
