MANILA, Philippines – Jessica Sanchez revealed during interviews with local networks that she was previously bullied when she attended school, and that was why she preferred to be home-schooled.
She also stated that she studies at home amidst her busy schedule. Jessica Sanchez performed in Manila at the Smart Araneta Coliseum last Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2013.
She expressed her gratitude to all her fans who attended her concert at the jam-packed venue. The fans loved her and could not get enough of her. She was mobbed wherever she went.
Fans could not imagine the sweet and kind Jessica, being bullied, but one cannot please everyone; there will always be people who would dislike you, just like what happened to her.
She does not dwell on it though, but continues to be positive about it, saying 2013 is her year in the entertainment industry. She has various projects to look forward to such as; her album, her acting stint with Glee, (she is currently taking up acting lessons), and her several product endorsements in the Philippines.
This 17-year old girl is a certified optimist and is mature beyond her age, with all her positive aura emanating its radiance to people around her. She must be a believer in the famous cliché:
“Life is 5% what happens to you, and 95% how you react.”
Earlier, Jessica Sanchez tweeted her followers of her gratitude for her close to a million followers. After 20 hours, her Twitter followers already exceeded 1 million; a phenomenal achievement for a singer who just entered the music entertainment industry.
The American Idol runner-up is now on her way to a huge and successful career this 2013.
Good luck, Jessica Sanchez. As you said:
“Work hard and stay humble.”
